GPS Soil Sampling

What we do -  The Lincoln Ag service includes start-to-finish GPS soil sampling and nutrient recommendations. We start with in-season satellite imagery to identify potential problem areas and top producing areas of your fields. Once these areas are identified, a custom layer of soil sample points is created and dispatched to our soil sampling crew. The sampling crew pulls numerous cores from each of these unique points and the soil is sent to the lab for analysis. We strive in getting precise measurements of your soil; therefore, samples are taken in two and one half acre increments or less.

How we do it - Nikki Bischer is commited to pulling accurate and timely soil samples.  Her strong attention to detail ensures the most consistent soil sampling depth and sampling technique is utilized and sent to the lab. The data from the lab is then analyzed and lime and fertilizer recommendations are created by Lincoln Ag for your farm. These recommendations are custom to your growing area and your farm’s needs and management practices. Variable rate broadcast applications of both lime and fertilizer are recommended, when needed, and adjusted for any other fertilizer or manure applications that may be made.

The result - This process results in recommendations that allow you to maximize yield and production in each field. It also ensures that the proper nutrients are applied to the soil in order to meet the needs of the crop grown.
