Variable Rate Seeding

Lincoln Ag creates variable rate seeding prescriptions for sugarbeets, corn, soybeans and dry beans using precise satellite imagery.  This system allows for the most accurate population placement available and is a superior method for variable rate seeding prescriptions.

Lincoln Ag collaborates with the grower to choose a satellite image that accurately represents each field.  This data from this image is incorporated into a variable rate seeding calculation that is unique to, and developed by, Lincoln Ag.  This calculation is then used to create a precise variable rate seeding prescription. Minimum and maximum seeding rates are based on the productivity levels within each field and can be adjusted on a field by field basis.  

The Lincoln Ag variable rate seeding prescriptions result in the proper plant population throughout the field.  This process decreases or increases planting rates depending on productivity, thereby increasing yields and often reducing total seed costs.  The overall result is greater farm profitability.
